An initial response team in Raqqa found a mass grave after residents complained about an unpleasant smell from a house in the Bedouin neighborhood, according to the Syrian Democratic Forces Media Center.
Yasir Khamis, an administrative officer in the initial response team, confirmed that 13 bodies had been recovered from the cemetery. All the samples were taken from the bodies.
Khamis said: The number of graves that have been recovered from the bodies to 16 graves and most of the victims are civilians and members of the terrorist organization ISIS.
