The Pupular Defense Forces (PDF), the military wing of the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK), said in a statement Wednesday that it had killed 13 Turkish soldiers in an operation in the southeast of the country.
"On September 2, our forces carried out an operation against Turkish soldiers stationed on "Kordina" Hill in "Gule" district of Golmirek," the PDF said. "We could not know how many were killed or wounded."
"On the same day, our forces launched a campaign against a convoy heading to Khargul hill. The Cobra armored vehicle was destroyed, 13 Turkish soldiers were killed and three others were wounded."
She said: «After the campaign, the Turkish occupation army bombed the area with artillery and bus, while the bodies of soldiers transported armor from the area».
