The French Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed the arrival of 31 Yezidi women with their children in France on Thursday.
"This step is proof of France's continued will to provide facilities for the reception of victims of ethnic and religious violence in the Middle East, in coordination with the Iraqi authorities," the ministry statement said.
The French authorities have already received 16 Yezidi families in December, and 28 other families in May.
The French President, Emmanuel Macron, pledged to the former Yezidi prisoner, Nadia Murad, that he will receive 100 Yazidi families of victims of the "ISIS", and the country's authorities will provide them "protection, security, education, as well as social and medical escort."
